Horizon Educational Hydrofill PRO

HE1505749

Product code: HE1505749

The world's only desktop on demand hydrogen supply system for refilling Hydrostik PRO metal hydride cartridges (B8R06177).

By generating hydrogen through water electrolysis, Hydrofill enables homes and classrooms to become energy self-sufficient. Perfect for next generation science kits and engineering projects.

Hydrogen is stored in small cartridges (Hydrostik PRO - available separately) at low pressure.  During refuelling, the Hydrofill PRO produces Hydrogen gas which is sent into the cartridge at high pressure and is absorbed onto the surface area of a special metal alloy which is contained inside the cartridges, thus becoming a solid (hydride). When connected to the fuelcell, the HYDROSTIK or HYDROSTIK PRO cartridges slowly release hydrogen using a heat exchange process with the ambient temperature.

  • Refilling Time for Hydrostik PRO: Approx. 4 - 6.5 hours (at 25°C ambient temperature)
