Philip Harris Spectrum Tube Bundle

Includes four Spectrum tubes:

  • 1 x Hydrogen
  • 1 x Neon
  • 1 x Nitrogen
  • 1 x Oxygen

Gas-filled discharge tubes for studying typical spectra of the different gases and for use in calibrating spectrometers. The glass body is provided with metal end caps and is constricted along the middle portion to concentrate the discharge glow.

  • Tube Length: 260mm
  • Maximum Recommended Running Current: 3mA
  • Recommended Run Cycle: 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off

Strike Voltages:

  • Hydrogen - 2500V - 3500V
  • Neon - 2000V - 3200V
  • Nitrogen - 3000V - 4200V
  • Oxygen - 3000V - 4200V

Requires the following equipment to operate:

  • Spectrum Tube Holder with Power Supply - B8R08098
