Polydron Giant Gears

Polydron Giant Gears offer an engaging way for young learners to explore mechanical concepts through hands-on play, supporting the Design & Technology curriculum. Ideal for nurseries and primary schools, this set encourages creative thinking and collaborative construction as children build and experiment with moving structures.

Children create a structure by assembling the easy to use squares and triangles. Virtually any shape can be made and this variety of possible constructions encourages children to explore their creative thinking. Gears are added by simply pushing them into place. They ingeniously mesh together either on a flat surface or at an angle of 90 degrees.

Once connected, just turn one gear and see the rest of them rotate!
