Magnetic Field Demonstrator

A set of four transparent plates of size (155 x 76 x 6mm) has a matrix of small circular chambers, each chamber containing a piece of iron wire that functions effectively as a plotting compass. The plates can be arranged in various configrations eg; as single large two-dimensional surface and as the faces of cube, so as to observe the configuration of a magnetic field in one or two dimensions with the attraction and repulsion properties of magnets. The transparent plates also makes them suitable for use on an overhead projector. A bar magnet is also provided with the kit.
